109th Anniversary of Siaurukas

On its 109th birthday the Narrow Gauge railway of Aukštaitija region invites its passengers to com e to a hat train. Birthday events included the trip by a historical train and a feast in Rekstinas forest. The dress code was announced in advance – the guests should were a hat of any kind, gloves, ... and the guests seemed happy to look different than everyday.
 
 
 
The creativity of the guests did not help the jury to choose the most excusive and beautiful hat.
For the third time Mrs. Elena Klimaitienė was announced the owner of the most charming hat.
 
 
 
 
 
 
Many more attractions were waiting for the passangers: the musician with old fashioned music , gipsy assisstants with souvenirs for sale and many more.
Huge variety of people, among which were the guests from the Great Britain, Belarus and Ukraine ,sent best wishes to Siaurukas.
